Dennis Edwards

Dennis joined Higher Power Electric as President in February of 2020. He is a dynamic, experienced energy-related construction and services executive with success in operations, P&L management, business development, mergers/acquisitions, and in providing strategic planning for growth-oriented organizations. Dennis has successful and documented experience in turning distressed organizations into profitable enterprises while improving customer relations and retention. He’s an effective communicator and cross-functional leader with excellent organizational and people skills. He brings a track record of mentoring and building relationships while acting as an agent of change. Dennis also is a skilled negotiator with transformational leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
Prior to coming to Higher Power, Dennis was the Vice President of Operations for Sayers Construction, LLC/Canyon Power Solutions, LLC.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Dennis also participated in the Columbia University Executive Program in New York.

Donnie Arbuckle
VP of Fleet Operations
Donnie Arbuckle, VP of Fleet Operations

Donnie is the Vice President of Fleet Operations for Lion Power Service Subsidiaries, Higher Power Electrical. He manages a fleet of over 2,000 pieces of equipment. Donnie’s leadership in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria was exemplary. He oversaw fleet operations in Puerto Rico. Prior work experience includes his role as Fleet Manager for KC Electric and Patriot Solutions.
Donnie has earned five master certifications from Ford Motor Company.

Justin McKenzie

Justin joined Higher Power Electrical in April of 2018 as a general foreman on SWEPO property in Louisiana. From there, he quickly transferred to PSO in Oklahoma as a general foreman and then was promoted to superintendent. Justin, a veteran, is proud of his 17-year journey to Director of Distribution Operations. He has also worked for LineTec, B&B Powerlines, SEC Power, Pike Construction and more. He has worked in every state except for Washington and California.
Prior to his work in the utility industry, Justin served two combat missions overseas for three years. He served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 82nd Airborne Division and the 31st Air Defense Artillery.

Jeff Manion
Director of Safety and Training
Jeff Manion, Director of Safety and Training

Jeff brings more than 15 years of safety experience to Higher Power Electrical. He has worked for companies such as Southern Star, Oklahoma Gas and Electric, Global Gaming and LineTech Services.
In his current role, Jeff partners with Higher Power leadership to create a safety culture that supports safety as a value. The company’s training department provides safety training for OSHA compliance, hazard recognition training, OSHA 10 and 30, etc. Higher Power also provides a lineman apprenticeship training program that is recognized by the US Department of Labor.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science Safety Management degree from Northeastern State University.

John Henry Cagle

John Henry Cagle joined Higher Power Electrical in 2020 and brings 35 years of experience to the company.
He is a successful project manager from small single-unit projects to high scale. His experience and accomplishments allow him to meet the needs of clients and offer traditional and/or non-traditional solutions for the best outcome.
Prior to coming to Higher Power, John Henry was the Director of Business Development for Power Solutions Group Holdings (Sayers Construction LLC, Canyon Power Solutions LLC, and Predictive Power LLC).
