February 2021 Arctic Blast
Our dedicated professionals at Higher Power Electrical worked safely during frigid conditions in the 2021 Arctic Blast that swept through the country. We were able to help the following utility partners with power restoration:
SWEPCO TX, Deep East Co-op, PSO Tulsa, PSO Lawton, ONCOR, and SWEPCO Arkansas
Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta
Higher Power Electrical answered the call to help Jefferson Davis Electric Cooperative in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta that hit their service territory in 2020. Our dedicated professionals overcame logistical challenges in the heavily damaged area in order to help restore power to thousands of customers.
FLORIDA - HURRICANE MICHAEL
In early October 2018, one of the strongest storms in decades struck the Florida panhandle and took a devastating path through much of the Carolinas. Higher Power crews responded to the call for assistance throughout the region. Our crews aided Gulf Power and Duke Energy in restoring their systems as safely and quickly as possible for the communities in need.
2020 Midwest Derecho
Nearly 1 million residents were without power after a derecho superstorm tore across Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. Areas/companies assisted by Higher Power Electrical professionals:
